Christ calls forth Lazaraus from the tomb (John 11:43-44). Lazarus is portrayed in bindings tightly wrapped about his body and a cloth about his face, which also has bindings about the head. Photo from a marble sarcophagus of the 7th century AD, at the San Vitale church, Ravenna, Italy (cf. p.57. Gilbert Thurlow. Biblical Myths & Mysteries. London. Octopus Books. 1974). Note that Christ's hair is NOT shoulder length. Although most of the features of the face are worn away, other examples of Christ with this closely-cropped hair style, show him with no moustache and no beard.
