A Midianite supervisor at Timna confers with an Egyptian clerk on the progress of quotas of Malachite fragments being harvested from the cliff face, to be later carried to a smeltry where they will become Copper. A single miner could harvest enough Malachite in a day to yield eight pounds of Copper at the smeltry.
